The Dreamer Review

The Dreamer (The Dreamland Series #1) by E.J. Mellow
Age Range: There's mildly steamy scenes and explicit words. But, teens can read this because I know a teen boy who read 50SOG.
Publishing: Four Eyed Owl May 15, 2015
Rating: yes. THAT CLIFFHANGER!

It’s night. Always night. Dreams guard against the evil forged by nightmares. Infinite shooting stars illuminate a moonless sky. A city stands alone, surrounded by a darkened field. On its fringes, a man watches one star separate from the masses and fall. What survives the crash will unveil a secret centuries long hidden.
Molly hasn't slept well since the night of her twenty-fourth birthday. Being struck by lightning might have something to do with it, but then again, her chicken did look a little under-cooked at dinner. Whatever the culprit, her life quickly catapults from mundane to insane as, night after night, Molly is transported through her once dreamless sleep to a mysterious land illuminated by shooting stars.
There she meets the captivating but frustrating Dev, and together they discover Molly possesses a power coveted by his people-the ability to conjure almost anything she desires into existence. Seduced by the possibilities of this gift, Molly shifts her attention from waking life toward the man, the magic, and the world found in her dreams.
But Molly must ask herself-does something truly exist if you only see it when you close your eyes?
Faced with the threat of losing everything-her job, best friend, boyfriend, and most importantly, that little thing called her sanity-Molly will learn just how far she’ll go to uncover what is real and what is merely a figment of her imagination.

Feature & Follow

Feature and Follow is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. Just write your post and enter your link into the linky tools (on bottom). People will say hi and follow, be sure to follow back. Also, be sure to include the F&F button thingy.

This week we're featuring: Mountain Rhinestones & Book Yabber

How did you come up with your blog title and address? Does it have a special meaning for you?

So, I was trying to start up my blog late at night. I was exploring all types of domains and templates. But, I didn't know what to call this blog. So, I texted my friends Audrey and Micaela back and forth. There were a bunch of suggestions. We disagreed a lot and came up the weirdest corniest titles. But, I decided to mix my two favorite things together. Reading and Alice in Wonderland.
Unfortunately, that blog url was taken. So, Pagesofwonderland became my url...

If you like this post, be sure to follow me. I prefer GFC and Bloglovin'

Love Fortunes and Other Disasters by Kimberly Karalius
Publishing: Swoon Reads on May 12, 2015

In the tradition of Alice Hoffman’s Practical Magic, one girl chooses to change her fortune and her fate by falling in love.
Love is real in the town of Grimbaud, and Fallon Dupree has dreamed of attending high school there for years. After all, generations of Duprees have successfully followed the (100% accurate!) love fortunes from Zita’s famous Love Charms Shop to happily marry their high school sweethearts. It’s a tradition. So she is both stunned and devastated when her fortune states that she will NEVER find love.
Fortunately, Fallon isn’t the only student with a terrible love fortune, and a rebellion is brewing. Fallon is determined to take control of her own fate-even if it means working with a notorious heartbreaker like Sebastian.
Will Fallon and Sebastian be able to overthrow Zita’s tyranny and fall in love?

TMI TV Show

Remember that movie called The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones? Well, because it didn't do too well in theaters. It's going to be rebooted as a TV show.
Recently, I found some shocking news regarding this. Before I say what it is, does anybody remember the Vampire Academy movie? You know, the one with the hot Russian named Danila.
CHRISTIAN OZERA FROM VA IS JACE...that does not work...I prefer Jamie Campbell Bower...You see what this has got me admitting?!?!
I'm not the biggest fan of TMI after rereading the series in a brand new book reviewer POV. The story was really bland, but the story was very original and new. The other thing that "saved" the book was the characters.
I know that I shouldn't be so concerned with the show because I'm no longer a big fan. But, TMI was one of the series that got me binge reading. It taught me to speed read and it divulged me deeper into the YA genre. Jace was my first book boyfriend. So, he'll always be special.
OMG WHAT DID I JUST SAY. THAT'S WEIRD!!!!
Anyway, how do you feel about this? Comment below!

Nothing Like Looking Review

Sorry for my lack of activity. I haven't been motivated to do much lately and my phone isn't connecting to Wi-Fi. Phooey

Nothing Like Looking by Chris Van Hykes
Publication: March 2, 2015 from unknown/self
Genre: YA, Romance, Contemporary, Coming of Age, Realistic Fiction
Reed Larson was just expelled from her old school. Do you want to know why? Me too. But she won’t say.
Ask her about the book her brother gave her instead, The Hobbit.
Or the beautiful boy named Mason.
Or her new school, Fancy Snob School for Rich Kids That Want to be Fancy (FSSFRKTWTBF for short).
Or how she’s hiding everything about herself.
Actually, scratch that. Just ask her why J.R.R. Tolkien has too many initials. She can’t talk about the rest, yet.

Angelina Jolie Book Tag

Hello readers of my blog,
Lots of people are doing The Taylor Swift book tag. But, I didn't want to do that tag because I'm not a big fan of Taylor Swift.
So, I decided to make a book tag about someone that most people would love. Hopefully you like her! Please don't feel obligated to do this tag. I'm not tagging anyone, but if you are doing this tag, please link back to me. Sorry if I didn't include any of your favorite movies!

Maleficent: A book that contains a villain, who's actually a really nice person.

Mr. & Mrs. Smith: A book that you have/contain a love/hate relationship.

Lara Croft: A book that contains a lot of action and a bad-ass heroine.

Girl, Interrupted: A book that has a mentally unstable character.

Salt: A book that has a character who is not who they say they are.

Kung-Fu Panda (I'm kind of ashamed to include this movie in this tag...): A character that is fierce and sassy like a tiger. Lol, that description.

Wanted: A book that has assassins/league of assassins

Fairy Keeper by Amy Bearce Review

Fairy Keeper by Amy Bearce
Read: EPUB Courtesy of NetGalley
Publishing: Curiosity Quills Press on March 5, 2014
Forget cute fairies in pretty dresses. In the world of Aluvia, most fairies are more like irritable, moody insects. Almost everyone in the world of Aluvia views the fairy keeper mark as a gift, but not fourteen-year-old Sierra. She hates being a fairy keeper, but the birthmark is right there on the back of her neck. It shows everyone she was born with the natural ability to communicate, attract, and even control the tiny fairies whose nectar is amazingly powerful. Fairy nectar can heal people, but it is also a key ingredient in synthesizing Flight, an illegal elixir that produces dreaminess, apathy and hallucinations. She’s forced to care for a whole hive of the bee-like beasties by her Flight-dealing, dark alchemist father.
Then one day, Sierra discovers the fairies of her hatch are mysteriously dead. The fairy queen is missing. Her father’s Flight operation is halted, and he plans to make up for the lost income by trading her little sister to be an elixir runner for another dark alchemist, a dangerous thug. Desperate to protect her sister, Sierra convinces her father she can retrieve the lost queen and get his operation up and running.
The problem? Sierra’s queen wasn't the only queen to disappear. They’re all gone, every single one, and getting them back will be deadly dangerous.
Sierra journeys with her best friend and her worst enemy -- assigned by her father to dog her every step -- to find the missing queens. Along the way, they learn that more than just her sister’s life is at stake if they fail. There are secrets in the Skyclad Mountains where the last wild fairies were seen. The magic Sierra finds there has the power to transform their world, but only if she can first embrace her calling as a fairy keeper.

SO OLD!

Yay! This is my hundredth post. Sorry if you're expecting a review. I recently rated Confess by Colleen Hoover on goodreads and I wrote that review to the best of my ability.
I really don't know what to do with this post. I can't hold a giveaway cuz I'm: broke, cheap, and don't have anything interesting to give out. So, you'll just listen to me ramble about my life.

So...This is My Life....

Since it's Spring Break and I don't have anything to do other than read or do homework, I walk around my house aimlessly. I literally opened my fridge and just stared at the same thing more than 20 times. I went back into my room and rolled around my bed for and our or so multiple times. But, I'm most proud of this. I wrote 2KB worth of a book!

Thank you Google for such wonderful gifs! I'm proud of my sudden need to write. It was fun. I might go back to some of my old stuff and edit/tweak/add-on some stuff.
Back to the topic of my fridge:
If you're hungry and you know it, raid your fridge
If you're hungry and you know it, raid your fridge
If you're hungry and you know it, then your stomach will surely tell ya
If you're hungry and you know it, raid your fridge

That my friends, is what happens when I get bored... songs become parodies.

Too Soon

After I don't know how many days, it's time to redesign this blog. I'm not a big fan of the red anymore. I know Daemon loves red, but it doesn't look that good on the blog. So, I might go back to my signature colors of blue and purple.
But, I feel like it's been used too much. So, I'll be holding a poll on the side of my page for ya'll to vote. PLEASE VOTE!!!!!!!!!

The Virgin Romance Novelist

The Virgin Romance Novelist by Meghan Quinn
Read: Kindle version courtesy of NetGalley
Publishing: Hot-Lanta Publishing on April 2, 2015
Her bosom heaved at an alarming rate as his rough hand found its way down to her soft, yet wiry briar patch...
Can you say briar patch in a romance novel? What about meat sword? That’s what it is…a meat sword, right, all meaty and sword like, slaying through the inner dungeons of a woman’s dark desires. What about breasts? Do bosoms really heave?
God, I have no idea what happens when private parts touch.
I’m a virgin trying to write a romance novel and can’t seem to write past a sex scene thanks to my lack of experience.
My two best friends encourage me to drop the pen for a while and gain some real life practice through multiple dating facets such as blind dates, online profiles, and random hookups.
But losing my virginity is proving to be tougher than expected…
