ABOUT ME

My name is Vivien, and I'm a teen from New York. I'm incredibly straightforward, which may come off as being rude. I hate making things lengthier than they should, which is why my reviews are half-assed/relatively short. Short and concise is nice. Grammarly proves that I have horrible grammar and syntax. I use many commas because I deem them the lesser of the evils [punctuations.]

As if that short paragraph wasn't insightful enough, here's a list of my favorite things and facts about me.

-Favorite Singer: BANKS

-Favorite book: Stolen by Lucy Christopher. (I've read this book multiple times and mention it incessantly.)

-I love a dark thriller, but I'm a total scaredy-cat when it comes to horror films.

-Favorite Movies: Labyrinth; Silence of the Lambs; 10 Things I Hate About You; and American Beauty.

-Favorite TV Shows: Veronica Mars, Penny Dreadful, RuPaul's Drag Race, and Twin Peaks.

-I enjoy learning languages. I'm Chinese, but my Cantonese and Mandarin are awful. (I prefer Cantonese because it sounds better, and it's what I primarily hear/speak.) I've learned bits of Spanish, Latin, French, Swedish, and Mandarin. Pronunciation leads to frustration.

-My birthday is May 5.

-My favorite drink is water. I read books relatively quickly. I cannot listen to music while reading because it distracts me. I have a short attention span. I get bored easily.

-After reading that list you're probably thinking, what a nerd, and you're not wrong! I do well in school *knocks on wood*, but I don't like sitting in school because it's boring and I hate tests. I like most subjects EXCEPT History, Business, and Economics. I also dislike standardized tests, which students take a lot of in New York.
